Soul
You may have experienced it before. The feeling you get when you enter a special place. Difficult to define, yet powerful and dramatic. It's the feeling you get when you drive onto the race surface of our road course, the soul of Monticello Motor Club.
Built to test a formula racer but designed to be safe for the Club driver, the racetrack is set on 175 wooded acres of undulating terrain and incorporates:
- Grand corners in the style of great European tracks
- A three-quarter mile straight
- Thrilling elevation changes
- A total of 22 turns including hairpins, increasing, and decreasing radius turns
The design of the road course is the first combined effort of Brian Redman, world-famous driving champion and winner of 77 races in 12 countries, and Bruce Hawkins, the preeminent architect of next generation racetracks.
Mr. Redman notes that the road course at Monticello Motor Club, "will be among the best in the world, with turns and challenges that will excite drivers of all levels." |
